A library of test calculations is used to check most functionality. Any errors in results are automatically detected. These test calculations are used daily, but also especially when a new release is prepared.

We use run-time error checking on the full c++ code. In combination with the testing library this external run-time error checking software can detect and prevent many bugs (use of unitialised variables, memory corruption, etc.).
